Synerion North America, formerly TimeTech, , is a subsidiary of Synerion responsible for the company’s operations in North America: USA and Canada. Since its establishment in 2000, the company has provided Workforce Management (WFM) solutions for businesses of all sizes across various sectors, including: manufacturing, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and more.

With over three decades of experience in providing workforce and human resource management solutions, Synerion from Malam Payroll Plus continues to make strides forward..
A Pioneer in Time Management and Employee Attendance
1983– two young friends and coworkers, Eli Avni and Gil Yuval, envisioned establishing a software house specializing in data collection using advanced technologies of the time on microcomputers. Together with a third partner, they founded “Lavie Computers,” which became a pioneer in Israel and one of the first globally to provide solutions for analyzing work hours and attendance. After thoroughly studying the Civil Service Regulations and the Labor Constitution, the company set a goal to provide reliable software solutions that offer the flexibility needed to address the complexity of the issue.
Among its first clients and over the years were companies such as: Mataf – International Bank, Motorola, Granot Factories, Merkavim, and more. Over the years, the areas of activity have expanded to include industries such as: manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, assisted living and nursing homes, government and public institutions, retail, finance, telecommunications, and more.
Entering International Markets
1986 – few Israeli technology companies were exporting their products to international markets. Lavie Computers partnered with a distributor to expand its products into the Canadian market. Later, additional distributors were added in the United States, the Netherlands, England, South America, South Africa, and more.
In 2000, the subsidiary TimeTECH Canada was established to operate in both Canada and the USA. In Europe and South Africa, the company continued to operate through a network of business partners.
Synerion – A Renewed Veteran
In 2010, the company launched a new product portfolio offering comprehensive modular solutions that integrate ongoing HR operations with proactive human capital management. These solutions enable businesses to efficiently track, monitor, and manage the entire employee lifecycle within an organization.
2011 – Synerion acquired Canadian ITR, becoming Canada’s largest private provider of mid-market workforce management solutions.
2020 – Synerion launched integrated payroll and time management solutions for payroll accountants, along with solutions that include payroll accounting services and comprehensive payroll, human resources, and time management systems for companies with 50 or more employees.
2022 – Synerion was acquired by Malam Payroll Plus and became a subsidiary.
